 IT’S ALREADY 2021! We hope you made a smooth transition.

     WIN will this January try to publish special double issue of its Newsletter in a bid to catch up and run along with the New Year’s literary momentum. The issues, Volume 2 No 16 and 17, are expected to serve a wide-range of goodies for writers, including a look at the future.

We understand COVID-19 is hard on our heels as a nation but let’s keep praying and taking necessary precautions to stop the spread.

KANA MONDIPWANYIRA IMBA

 

Musapwanya ndichangotanga kuchera;

Hakunganzi kupwanya asi kufushira.

Musapwanya muchirimo,

Imba haionekwi kukosha kwayo kuchipisa.

Ndingazonogara pasi pemuti

Panenge pane mumvuri unotonhorera.

 

Mirirai chando chitange charova zvekukwidza hamba mumuti.

Vadzimai vangu vasununguka mucheche wavakatakura.

Imi mochiuyai nechigiredha chenyu manje.

Mupwanye, pwanyai kunyange ndisipo pwanyai,

Pwanyai musi unoturuka mvura yenhuruka.

Indipure ini nemidziyo yangu yose dzamara ndati tuzu.

 

Sevanhu vasina moyo, pwanyai ndirwadziwe moyo

Imi, ndati pwanyai zvidziro zvose.

Pasatombosara pekuvanda chando, mvura kana mhepo.

Musazvinetsa kuuya nemapurisa anembwa netsvimbo.

Huyai zvenyu mega mupwanye.

Mapurisa ambonotsvaga magevha

Akadai kunditengesera nzvimbo ino achiti ndeyawo.
