WIN Engages Part-time Volunteer

New volunteer: Paida Mudzamba

Writers International Network Zimbabwe has recruited a new part-time volunteer Paida Mudzamba who will assist in the administration and coordination of the association’s activities.
Mudzamba, who is currently studying for a Bachelor of Arts  degree in Health Sciences and Social Services with UNISA, has worked as volunteer for different organizations such as St. Michaels Mission Hospital (Manicaland), Streets Ahead Welfare Organization and Save the Children UK.
She did her Ordinary and Advanced level at Monte Cassino Girls High and Roosevelt Girls High respectively.
“It is an honor for me to be a volunteer at WIN. It has given me a platform to express my artistic skills especially writing; and a chance to give myself to the community. A candle never loses its flame by lighting another candle. In the end the world will only become brighter,” said Mudzamba about how she felt to be part of WIN.
Apart from having an urge to write, Mudzamba also plays the violin which she says she bought due to her interest in classical music. She occasionally plays at weddings and other social gatherings.
Mudzamba is the second volunteer to be engaged by WIN. The first volunteer, Moira Marangwanda, left a few months ago but she still helps in WIN whenever she has time.
