Bible Blues and Heat by Zimbabwean writers Emelda Nyaradzai Gwitimah and Gift Nyoni respectively, feature on the 2025 Afritondo Short Story Prize longlist of 15 stories announced on March 28, 2025.
The 2025 edition attracted ‘over 500 stories from 34 countries’, according to Afritondo.
